Search engine optimization is the war in the internet, so getting backlinks is crucial for your online business. In this post, I will teach you how to get quality backlinks from forums.

First off, I have to clarify an important issue that I have seen many times on webmaster forums.
Pagerank: According to Google, pagerank is the probability of a visitor clicking a link on a page so by logic, if a page has a single link, that link will take the whole page rank. However, if that link is completely unrelated to the page topic, the visitor won’t be interested at all, so no matter if the page has a single link, it won’t get any pagerank at all.

So to get link juice from forums, we must find related forums to our target website.

Here is what I recommend to get quality back links from forums:

• Find related forums to your website that follow links (dofollow).
• Many forums do not accept links from new users so you have to post at least 10 posts to demonstrate you are a real member.
• Place an avatar on your profile. Make sure this avatar is related to the forum topic. (i.e. on car a forum, use a car picture)
• Once you have reached 10 posts. Make a contribution to the forum.Start a thread and post a link from your blog or website.

  I recommend using catchy titles and catchy anchor text on links with nested keywords. They look more natural.

Let me explain you how this works: By posting relevant information on individual threats, you achieve three important things:

• By placing your keywords in the thread title, your keywords will be shown in title tags of the page, so your link will have maximum pagerank juice.Remember title tags are important on SEO so the more relevancy you get on title tags more pagerank your site link will receive.
• Your link will have your target keywords, which are related to the thread subject. Remember that keywords in anchor text determine what your page is about. Therefore, forum members will be attracted to visit your website, which means more traffic, and search engine spiders will take into account those keywords for ranking.
• If your post has quality content, forum members will recommend you on other forums, social networks and related sites, in other words, your post may go viral. Webmasters from related sites will potentially link to you.

Just one more thing: I suggest avoiding link signatures, since they have no real value. They might bring visitors but they are usually ignored by forum members and by search spiders.

NOTE:It’s not necessary posting on hundreds of forums to get your site promoted. Posting on top 15 of your niche is good enough to leave the message.
